The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is a required certification for all healthcare providers who come into contact with newborns.
The NRP course is structured in two parts to ensure learners are thoroughly prepared to provide essential resuscitation techniques.
Steps for obtaining the NRP certification:
Purchase the 8th Edition Neonatal Resuscitation Textbook from the AAP for $76.95.
Schedule the NRP skills session.
Access the NRP 8th Edition Learning Platform and create a new account.
Select either the Essentials or Advanced online exam and complete it to receive the Certificate of Completion.
Pay the additional $35 certification fee to the AAP.
