BLS Certification
The BLS Certification Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
In the Instructor-led BLS course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing.
Basic Life Support vs. First Aid courses are both valuable training programs for life-saving skills. However, they differ in their focus and the level of care they provide.
Knowing how to be BLS-certified starts at students needing to complete a written exam.
